Dear Super Family,

I’ve been hopping far and wide, searching for the most magical families — the kind who are ready for something more than just chocolate eggs and fluffy feathers…

This year, I’ve got a secret mission for you. Not just for fun (although it will be fun!) — but to help you find what truly makes your family yours.

Easter Bunny Writing An Invitation for the Easter Power Egg Hunt

You see, I’ve hidden something special in your Easter eggs… your Easter Powers!

Some are about closeness. Others about courage, helping hands, big hearts, or adventurous spirits.

Together, you’ll go on a Easter Power Egg Hunt. Each egg doesn’t just hold treats… but a fun note or tiny challenge that helps reveal the amazing easterpowers you share as a family.

I’ve made a little guide to help you along. And at the end, you’ll even create your very own Family Easter Power Poster.

Ready for your mission?

🐾 Hoppy hugs,
The Easter Bunny

The Great Easter Power Egg Hunt – A Fun and Meaningful Family Tradition for EasterPowered Kids

Move over, Easter Bunny – it’s time to find your family’s Easter Powers! This Easter, make your egg hunt unforgettable with a tradition that blends fun, connection, and a little family purpose

The Great Easter Power Egg Hunt.

Every family has some Seasonal Family Powers – and this new Easter activity helps you celebrate them with giggles, hugs, and heart.

What Is a Power Egg Hunt?

Think of your usual Easter egg hunt, but instead of just candy, every egg holds a tiny spark of your family’s magic. Inside each Power Egg, you’ll find notes that help kids recognize and celebrate their easterpowers like:

  • Hug Power 🫂 – For when a cuddle saves the day

  • Helping Hands ✋ – Being a superhero in small ways

  • Brave Bunny 🐰 – Facing fears with courage

  • Teamwork Time 🤝 – Solving problems together

  • Silly Spark 🤪 – Spreading joy through play

It’s a new twist that adds family bonding, and fun with a little purpose to your Easter celebration.

What You’ll Need

  • 5–10 plastic or paper eggs

  • Our free printable Power Egg cards (download below)

  • Small treats or toys

  • About 30-45 minutes of joyful family time

If you feel full of creativity, you can make your own Papier Maché Easter Eggs and put your power egg cards in it.
If so, you will definitely also like the creativity of making your own Family Identity Mosaic

How to Host the Great Easter Power Egg Hunt

Step 1: Pick Your Power Eggs

Print our 9 Power Egg cards. If you need more, double up. Write your family Easter Powers on the eggs. One for each. At this stage, you can already involve everyone and ask each person to write an egg.

Step 2: Prep Your Eggs

Tuck one card into each plastic or paper egg. Add a treat (but, hey parents, the power is the real treasure 😉)

Step 3: Hunt and Celebrate

Let the egg hunt begin! When all Power Eggs are found, take each one and ask:

  • Who showed this Easter Power lately – give it to the person who showed it!

  • If noone showed it – give it to one person volunteers to show it later

  • Continue until everyone has an Easter Power

Step 4: Pick Your Top 3 Easter Powers

After the hunt, vote on your Top 3 Family Easter Powers. Use the printable poster to proudly display them at home.

What is the Easter Power Egg Hunt

Instead of just candy, each egg contains a playful note or mini challenge that celebrates your family’s strengths, like helping, hugging, or teamwork. Most families complete the hunt and follow-up reflections in about 30–45 minutes. But you can make it shorter or stretch it across the weekend depending on your schedule!

Of course, your Easter Powers last all Easter!
